Some of the trees around here look like retirees from a scary book such as "Where the Wild Things Are."
One of the wilder trees even looks like a saguaro cactus. When you find that one, you're getting close. There are lots of hollow trees and stumps around also.
Be on the lookout for barbed wire. If you find any, it's a sign that you are getting pretty far from GZ. It's also a little hard to believe that someone once needed to keep cows on one side or the other of this area. It doesn't look too moo-friendly now, does it?
