Geocache Description:

Cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. Depending on your vehicle, the posted coordinates could be used for parking, but for most I would not recommend it.

Some of you may remember the "Whodunit" Mystery from the 4-H Camp Cache Bash '09, where someone stole TazD's original geocache hide in Mendon Ponds Park. You may also remember that it was Team GeoGriffin that was the notorious cacher responsible for this theft. What you may not know is that this fun game that you played at an event cache was actually based in reality. I really did steal Taz's cache! It was a dark and stormy night and after I stole it, I stashed it in an appropriate and watery grave in The Devil's Bathtub. It wasn't until recently when we were finishing the infamous Are You Taz Enough? Challenge, with the devious cache that completed the series, Home Sweet Home, that I was able to retrieve my ill-gotten gains.

I didn't really know Taz back when I first stole his cache and assumed that he was just a cruel puzzle maker and vicious cache hider. Now, after getting to know him more over the last year, I realize that he is a cruel puzzle maker and vicious cache hider with a huge heart.

Taz TGG

One of the other things I've found out about Taz over the past year is that we share a love for Warner Brothers. Some of you may think that Taz gets his nickname from his sunny disposition and striking resemblance to the Australian Tasmanian devil, but this name really comes from one of the staples of the Warner Brother's Looney Tunes cartoons, the Tasmanian Devil. I too also have a fondness for Warner Brothers, but I lean more towards the science fiction end of the spectrum and include "The Matrix" as one of my all-time favorite movies. I even made a custom Neo costume for Halloween a few years ago. I won a prize for it!

In addition to our Warner Brothers connection, Taz and I also share an aptitude for imagining and creating puzzles with some odd turns and twists. I'm not sure if it is my love for "The Matrix" movie or the fact that I took two semesters of linear algebra, but whenever I see a puzzle like the one that was in the original Are You Taz Enough? cache or the Where Art Thou? cache, I find myself screaming "It's not a GRID. It's a MATRIX!".

So... without further ado... I give to you... THE MATRIX!

The cache is Taz's "original" .30 cal ammo can that is showing its age with its dents and dings and weathered appearance. I added a little "TGG" touch to the camouflage before I re-hid it and loaded it with a fresh log book and some new trades. There are two DVDs (one Taz Looney Tunes compilation and one Matrix compilation) and some trail swag for the grownups and some Halloween whistles for the kids. There is also a lammy for the First To Find and ten lammies for the next-to-finds.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.

Congratulations to Mom-n-Andy for an epic FTF!
