Nanokätkö teollisuusalueella Pirkkalassa. Huom! Kätkössä ei ole kynää. Geomobiilin voi jättää parkkiin tien sivuun kätköpaikan lähelle. Terrain johtuu kätköä ympäröivästä ojasta.
Tätä nanokätköä etsiessänne olette Pirkkalan keskeisimmällä teollisuusalueella, Huovin- ja Turkkiradan teollisuusalueen välimaastossa. Kätköpaikan vieressä oleva rakennus on Pirkkalan Autovahinkokeskus.
Pirkkalan kunta halusi 1960-luvulla lisätä työpaikkaomavaraisuuttaan jolloin perustettiin Huovin teollisuusalue. Alueelle syntyi runsaasti metallialan yritystoimintaa, joista suurimpana sinkityslaitos Teollisuustien alussa. Teollisuustoiminta laajeni 1980-luvulla Turkkiradan teollisuusalueelle. Nykyään alueella on monimuotoista pientä ja hieman suurempaa yritystoimintaa monelta eri alalta.
Rajasalmen sillan puoleisesta päästä Naistenmatkantieltä alkaa Turkkirata, joka halkoo läpi Turkkiradan teollisuusalueen. Lentoasemantien päästä taas alkaa Teollisuustie, kulkien läpi Huovin teollisuusalueen. Vaikka teiden nimet vaihtuvat Pyhäjärventien alla, pääset kuitenkin ajamaan sujuvasti molempien alueiden lävitse yhtäjaksoisesti.

Nano cache in industrial area in Pirkkala. Note! There is no pencil in this cache. You can park your geomobile to a side of the road near the cache location. A narrow stream has been taken into account when the terrain value has been defined.
While searching this nano cache you are located in one of the most essential industrial area of Pirkkala near the border of Huovi and Turkkirata industrial areas. Building near the cache hide is Pirkkala Autovahinkokeskus, where you can buy crashed cars that have been in accidents.
Pirkkala wanted to increase it’s self-sufficiency of work places in 1960s and then Huovi industrial area was established. Many metal industry companies were founded and the biggest one was zincing plant in the beginning of Teollisuustie. Industrial area expanded to Turkkirata in 1980s. Now in Huovi and Turkkirata industrial area there are diverse small and medium sized entrepreneurship from various areas of industry.
Turkkirata road and industrial area starts from the Naistenmatkatie near Rajasalmi bridge. Teollisuustie road starts from Lentokentäntie and goes through Huovi industrial area. Eventhough the road names change under Pyhäjärventie, you can still drive through both industry areas continuously.
