Geocache Description:

Easy traditional cache near one end of the Carretera de les Aigües.

Sunday Sycle ("passejada en bicicleta els diumenges") is in a very popular place for walking, running and cycling along the skyline of Barcelona. There are excellent views across the entire city from this track.

Recommended route: Take the FGC line S1, S2, S5 or S55 to Peu del Funicular, then take the Funicular de Valvidrera to Carretera de les Aigües (the middle station). It is then a beautiful walk, run, or cycle along the skyline, to the cache. If you want, the recommended route is about 4km, or you can go back to the same station. There is no vehicular access and it is flat all the way. If you are cycling, the cache is off the track and you will need to secure your bike. There is a nearby view point (N41°24.729, E002°06.852) for a rest, bike locking, and views.

You will also pass just below Observatori Fabra, and should also consider getting cache GCMPTE. Keeping going, and at the parking area turn right and descend via the road to the end station of the Tramvia Blau. Check the Tramvia Blau schedule if you plan to use it! It is then a pleasant and historical descent into the city, passing extraordinary architecture, where you can rejoin public transport networks at Av. Tibidabo station (FGC line L7).

Cache is a small snap-lock container, with original contents:

Of course - you can do the whole thing in the other direction!
