Castelo de Penajóia Traditional Geocache

A cache situa-se num afloramento rochoso construído pela natureza, que dá pelo nome de “Castelo dos Mouros”. Dizem os mais antigos que ali se travaram muitas batalhas, mas a lenda mais conhecida reza, que no castelo existiam grutas subterrâneas, onde uma moura guardou duas talhas, uma era a talha da riqueza e a outra a da peste, que mataria quem a encontrasse e destruiria toda a freguesia.

Para chegar ao castelo, após chegar à freguesia da Penajóia, terá apenas de seguir as indicações que o referem, até chegar ao waypoint, seguindo mais 1,5Kms por um caminho de terra batida, contudo com precaução é possível chegar ao local num carro ligeiro. Para chegar à cache não aconselhamos, ir à noite, em dias em que o terreno possa estar molhado, nem que se façam acompanhar de crianças, uma vez que poderá ser perigoso na subida para o ponto zero, e posteriormente na descida.
