Mt. Aeolus. Easy to get to. GREAT view. Drive or hike. Cache contents for all ages.
This is one of my favorite spots in VT. This area is where we camp every year. The view from the camp area is awesome and the mountain is a fun one to explore. This road continues on up the mountain to the Mt. Aeolus Bat caves, which have been shut down and gated. But there is an INSANE view from a lookout near the upper bat cave that will soon house another geocache. The other trail from the base parking lot takes you to an old marble cave that can be fun to explore.
Please keep this area clean. Too many people visit and leave their garbage behind :(
Cache is a black (painted) air tight box with a few trackables, log book, and a disposable camera. Please feel free to take a picture of your group with the cache and let me know when the camera is full and I will replace it. Thank you and happy hunting :)

When driving along Dorset hill road, the trail head sign will be on your left. If Dorset hill road turns into a trail itself you have gone too far.
