High on Carnival Hill. This will be winter friendly till there is a foot of snow.
In February of 1936 a 2 day Carnival entertained over 7,500 people. Three Snow Trains from Boston and Worcester brought the bulk of the people who wanted to try the 1/4 mile long Toboggan Chute which went through the towns of Wilton, Milford and Lyndeborough. See the photos I posted in the Album.
In summer bring your frisbee and in the winter your sled. The view is great and there is tons of parking.
FTF will have a choice of the always valuable Detroit People Mover Monorail Tokens (2) or the never valuable 1 Quetzel Guatemala note.
Contrary to the map this is NOT in the Curtis Dogwood State Park. A state forest with no place to park!
Please replace cache exactly as you found it !
The best place to park is at the BASE of the hill by the tennis court on Whiting Road.
