Geocache Description:

The Cache is located on the Eastern Side of Kamanofuchi Park on Ome City. The terrain is easy and it's a nice walk through the Park.

This Cache is a small traditional Cache. The container is an Official Groundspeak small tupperware (type) box. It contained a log book, a Compass Zipper Pull, and a CITO bag when it was first hidden. There are a couple of other small items in the Cache.

This is a very nice part of the Park. On the way to this Cache site you should pass a very nice Museum of Provincial History which has some nice Nature Displays, and a very old traditional Japanese home about 200 years old that is open for public view (free). The old house is named the "Miyazaki" residence.

You will find this Cache along the side of a trail that is lined with Cherry Trees which are wonderful to view 30 March, till 5 April most years. The spot is a nice place to view the river and watch people fish for Aiu and Rainbow Trout.

Important. you do NOT need to climb down the river bank to the river area to find this Cache, (it's on the other side of the trail - Not the river-side) so it should be a nice hunt for everyone.

Please take time to enjoy the Museum and Miyazaki Residence while you are in the Cache area.
