Geocache Description:

This Cache is located in the central area of the Kamanofuchi Park in Ome. The terrain is level and easy to walk through. There is a nice view of the river here and the Cache location over looks great BBQ sites along the Tama river.

This Cache is a small Official Groundspeak Cache container. It has a Log book, a small pencil, and an Official Groundspeak CITO bag is inside that I hope one of the sucessful Cache hunters that find this Cache will use. There are a few other small items (SWAG) in the Cache too.

Very close to the Cache site you will find several nice grasy areas that are good spots for having a family picnic or simply sitting on one of the park benches to enjoy the surroundings.

While walking through this park PLEASE notice the many diffierent types of trees there. Many of them have special signs placed on them that provide visitors the Scientific name of the tree and a little information about the tree (in Japanese).
There is a picture in the Gallery I have provided as an example for you;)

Very near the Cache hide location is a Statue of a well know person that might interest you and it is only about 7 meters from the Cache:)

From the Cache site you can enjoy a very nice view of the TAMA river and overlook the riverside which is a favorite BBQ area for many people year-round.

Important. You do NOT have to climb down the river bank to the riverside to find this Cache. It's "trail-side".

Please use STEALTH while hunting this Cache and especially when you replace it to its hiding spot. There are many MUGGLES here every day and we don't want this Cache to go missing soon:) Thank you.
