Pyhärannan kirkko vietti 100-vuotis-juhliaan tänä vuonna 2009, siksi nyt on sopiva aika piilottaa kätkö sen lähelle ja samalla esitellä kätköilijöille kirkko ympäristöineen. Tämä kivikirkko on rakennettu 1907-1909 korvaten aikaisemman vuodelta 1758 peräisin olevan kirkon. Sen on suunnitellut suomalainen arkkitehti ja insinööri Josef Stenbäck. Arkkitehtuuri edustaa kansallisromanttista aikakautta ja on muodoltaan ristikirkko. Kirkkoon mahtuu 700 henkilöä. Kirkko sijaitsee meren äärellä. Kätkölle kannattaa tulla auringonlaskun aikaan! Maisema saattaa tällöin olla huikaiseva. Kätkö sijaitsee lähellä uimarantaa. Uimavarusteet kannattaa ottaa mukaan. Kätköä etsiessäsi älä vaivaudu etsimään sitä kirkkoa ympäröivästä kivipenkereestä. Se EI ole siellä ja rannan tuntumassa olevasta pukukopista ei kannata etsiä kätköä! The church of Pyhäranta celebrates its 100 year anniversary this year in 2009, therefore it’s time to hide a cache nearby and thus to show this church and its surroundings to the cachers. This church made of stone has been built during 1907-1909 on the same place than the previous one from year 1758. It has been designed by Finnish architect and engineer Josef Stenbäck. The architecture of church represents national romantic era. There is place for 700 persons. The church of Pyhäranta is situated by the sea. It’s worth to come to seek the cache on sunset time! The view can be brilliant. After 'sweaty' seeking you can go swimming ! When seeking the cache don’t bother to try from the stone wall surrounding the church. The cache IS NOT there!
