The posted coordinates are very close to the location of
Marky & Joani's now
archived cache Along the De Anza Trail 8 - Los
Altos. As stated on the original cache page, although it is
tough to see where exactly the De Anza trail is, there are lots
of plaques and markers letting you know where it was. One such
plaque is at the posted coordinates. Use the information from
the plaque to fill in the following charts which will reveal the
location of the cache.

So how do you fill in the charts? If you look at the plaque and
ignore the information in the circle you'll see that the plaque has
13 lines of inscription. Each 3-number code references a line #,
word #, and character # on the plaque. Use the reference to fill in
the second row of each chart. Then use the mapping A=1, B=2, ...,
I=9, O=0 to fill in the coordinates. To help you out, I've filled
in the first entry. 5-1-1 refers to line 5 word 1 letter 1, which
is the "C" in "CARLOS" which maps to the digit "3"
Thanks to Marky & Joani for originally bringing me to this
location and teaching me about this historic trail (more info
here), and further for allowing
their cache to be archived after the shrubbery which hid their
original cache was removed when the area was recently
landscaped.
