Mein Freddie-Mercury-Gedenk-Cache

Er führt euch in die Nähe eines kleinen, öffentlichen Sport- und Segelflugplatzes, der „Dahlemer Binz“ (visit link) .

Parken könnt ihr bei N 50° 24.089' - O 006° 31.431'

Von hier aus sind es nur wenige Schritte, bis man den Fliegern bei Start und Landung zusehen kann, aber das Flughafengelände selbst muss nicht betreten werden, da die Dose abseits auf der anderen Straßenseite liegt.

Tipp: Der Weg über die Wiese ist weniger nass

Wenn alles wie geplant verläuft, wird der Cache am 24.11.2009, dem 18. Todestag von Freddie Mercury, dem „Lover of Life and Singer of Songs“, veröffentlicht. Seinem Gedenken ist er gewidmet und deswegen ist er auch das Zuhause von „Lily of the Valley“, einem Travelbug, der sich nun auf den Weg nach London macht, um dort den Logan Place 1 zu besuchen.

Anschließend möchte Lily wieder nach Hause wandern und in Frieden ruhen.

This cache leads you near a little airport called „Dahlemer Binz“ (visit link) . There’s no need to enter the area of the airport, but you can watch the plane’s starts and landings a few steps away from the coordinates of the recommended car park:
N 50° 24.089' - E 006° 31.431'

It’s planned that this cache will be published on November, 24th 2009, which is the 18th anniversary of the day Freddie Mercury, the “Lover of Life and Singer of Songs”, died. It’s dedicated to his remembrance and for this reason it’s the Home of “Lily of the Valley”, a Travelbug which now starts his journey to London, 1 Logan Place. After visiting this place Lily wants to go back home and rest in peace.
