I always have an ongoing list of the places across the world I
would love to see before I die. This series showcases many of those
that I have yet to visit as well as a number of the ones I have
been to already that were particularly striking.
The caches in the series on the other hand are not anything like
the places they are named after. They are not especially striking,
original, clever, breathtaking or even all that interesting. I
couldn't help myself though. I keep looking at this stretch of
roadway and thinking that it really needs some more caches on it,
and I did have all these containers left over from all the trips to
these wonderful places I have taken in the past.
I placed these caches travelling from east to west on Route 2
and recommend that you hunt for them in the same direction. There
is plenty of space at each of the hides to safely pull off the
road, but if you travel the other way you will have to negotiate
crossing this busy roadway on foot, which I don't recommend at
all.
