No. 11 Station is one of two Fire Stations in Winnipeg that perform
high angle rescues. If you peek in the center overhead door of the
station and the fire apparatus is not out on a call, you should be
able to see Spiderman on the dash. Spiderman is the mascot of the
high angle rescue units.
DO NOT PARK IN FIRE DEPARTMENT LOTS OR IN ANYPLACE YOU WILL
INTERFERE WITH EMERGENCY VEHICLES COMING OR GOING FROM HALL. Park
on street and abide by all parking regulations.
Do not park in back lane. Please leave trash cans as they are.
You do not need to move them to get to cache. Cache is not hidden
on, in, or under trash cans.
Cache only has room for log, so please bring a writing
utensil.
Please make sure cache is secure before putting it back exactly
as you have found it.
Cache is in busy area near Portage Avenue businesses, please use
stealth.
