McKitten's little buddy,
Cougar (AKA Coug), loves Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park
sooo much, that he thought it would be a grrrrrrrreat idea to have
a puzzle cache honoring the very animals this park is named after!
Why Coug, what a truly fantasic idea!!!!!
So, cachers, to find this
cache, you must do a little "cougar work" prior to finding this
one. The posted coordinates are for parking. To get the actual
coordinates, you must answer the following questions:
The cougar is from what
family? (number of letters in the word) = A
What kind of predator is
the cougar? (number of words) = B
The cougar's primary food
source comes from what family of animal? (number of letters in the
name of the family of animals) = C
How many other predators
compete with the cougar for its prey? (number of animals) =
D
The cougar is also known
as? (number of different names) = E
The state where the cougar
has made a recent comeback in population to the point of having the
largest population of cougars in North America? (number of letters
in the name of the state)= F
Now complete the following
coordinates with the answers obtained from the questions
above:
N47
32.(A-5)(B-2)(C)
W122 0(D+3).0 (E-2)
F
Coug says this cache should
be easy to find. You need to take only a step off of the trail to
obtain this cache. The cache is bigger than any mico or lock in
lock, but is smaller than an ammo can. The FTF is a couple of
"Georges" Good luck seekers!
CONGRATS TO TOBIAS AND PETRONELLA FOR THE
FTF!
