Woodcutter's Bridge Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Michael_SFBA: I stopped to check the trail, and sadly it has not been maintained. It's been over two years since the last time it was cut back, so I must archive this cache.

Thanks to all who visited!

Geocache Description:

Cache is a small lock-and-lock box with pen, log and swag.

Team C2C were sent out by the woodcutter to fend for themselves....and this bridge marked the point of no-return. They blissfully stopped to plant a hide here~~unaware that they would soon be staring evil in the face!

We have sought out Fence Posts cache (GCR32G) for a while now and finally discovered the trailhead! On our journey out here we decided to leave some new hides, like breadcrumbs, to help bring cachers to this lovely area. On the day we came we had no trouble with ticks or PO as the trail was very well maintained. We saw lots of critters including deer and many salamanders. There are two scenic ponds along the way as well. The out-and-back trail is level for the most part and is about 5 miles round-trip.

Parking coordinates are near N37 09.684 W122 19.628.
