This is part of my Vermont Fish Series. The Pumpkinseed is a very
sweet tasting meat similar to the Crappie, but smaller. Typically
these are not taken home to be eaten, but will offer hours of
fishing fun catching them. The Vt. State record weighed in at 0.9
lbs. It was caught in Isle LaMotte on 7-24-1994.
