This series of caches is hidden in St. Leonard's Forest, with the kind permission of the Forestry Commission. Please pick up any litter that you spot on your way around, as a thank you to them for allowing us to cache in this lovely forest. There is plenty of room for parking in the Roosthole FC car park at the southern end of the forest. The entrance is off Hammerpond Road.
There are 20 traditional caches and 1 bonus multi-cache, which will take you on a loopy sort of walk around the forest, of about 6 miles, if you do them in numerical order. The numbers for the bonus cache are hidden in the odd-numbered caches only. Most of the caches are micros (no pens), but there are 5 bigger ones for your swaps.
The caches are all hidden within a few feet of the main forest tracks, but it is quite muddy in places, so boots are essential. There are no stiles but you will need to scramble up and down a few banks! This forest is perfect for dogs so do bring yours. The Flatcoats love it here!
After doing #20, take the path at N51.03.515 W000.15.943. This will lead you back towards the Bonus Cache and the car park.
