Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache is in retaliation for all the caches that have taken me
over beaver dams or through bogs, fens, swamps, and any other NE MN
wetland. You may get your feet wet (wet grass or a puddle), but
assuredly you will be on “terra firma”. It is about two
miles into this winter-friendly cache. All but the last 120 or so
feet are on a wide trail.
The container is a larger small container. Preferably, items
exchanged should have a ski or winter theme. You’ll see why.
The FTF prize is marked as such. This cache and another one of mine
that is nearby is for those who like to combine two activities
– caching and ___________ (fill in the blank). Only skis are
allowed on the trails when the snow is deep enough for skiing. Hike
or ride a mountain bike in during the rest of the year. There is a
nearby fire pit where you may cook lunch if you wish. Better to
roast a hot dog than your caching buddies on this trip. Wear
something blaze orange during hunting season, and during deer
hunting (rifle) it is best to stay out of the area if you
aren’t hunting.
