Eng: Micro-sized traditional cache in the surroundings of the Bird stand of Huutilampi, in the district of Heikinharju, city of Oulu.
Fin: Heikinharjussa sijaitseva Huutilampi on lähes umpeenkasvanut rehevä lampi. Tuoreet mäntykankaat ympäröivät lampea. Sitä kiertää luontopolku, ja pohjoisrannalla on nuotiopaikka ja pieni parkkipaikka sekä itärannalla lintujentarkkailulava, josta lammen linnut on helpoimmin nähtävissä. Parasta katseluaikaa on kevät, jolloin vesikasvillisuus ei ole vielä häiritsevän korkea. Alue on rauhoitettu asemakaavalla. Huutilampi on erittäin suosittu koululuokkien retkikohde. Timosenkosken luontokoulu sijaitsee lammen kaakkoispuolella ja lammen pohjoispuolella on runsas polkuverkosto, jota pitkin voi tutustua alueen muuhun luontoon ja linnustoon. (lähde: (visit link)
Saadaksesi kätkön esille tarvitset todennäköisesti jonkin pienen tikun tapaisen apuvälineen, esimerkiksi kynän; tämä tieto voinee toimia vihjeenäkin;)
Huomioithan että vaikka kätköpaikka on lähellä paikallistietä (Pitkäsuontie), on tien kapeuden vuoksi suositeltavaa pysäköidä Huutilammen nuotiopaikan pysäköintipaikalle, josta on vain n. 250 metriä matkaa polkua pitkin lintulavalle.
Eng: Pond of Huutilampi is almost totally engulfed by the swamp. Pond and swamp are surrounded by the newly grown pine forests. Pond and swamp may be strolled around by the nature path. On the northern part of the area is a place for campfire and parking. On the eastern coast is located a bird stand, from which the birds on the pond may be seen conveniently. The best time for viewing the birds is the spring time, when the aquatic plants have not yet grown to the full length of theirs. The area is preserved by the city plan. The area of Huutilampi is a popular site for excursions of school classes. The Nature school of Timosenkoski is located on the southeastern side of the area, and northwards from the area of Huutilampi you will find more paths on which you may familiarise yourself with the surrounding nature and birdlife. You may need a small stick-shaped assistive device, for example a pen, to extract the cache box; this information may also act as a hint;)
Please notice that although this cache is located near a local road (Pitkäsuontie), use of the parking place on the northern side of the Huutilampi (see coordinates) is recommended because this local road is quite narrow. Distance from this parking place to the cache site is only about 250 meters via the path.
