Geocache Description:

The main road in the buckhorn draw is north of this cache. There is a camping spot turn out to turn on to. There is a trail south from the camp site. Maybe a quarter mile hike. It is a climb, but I made it with bad knees. It is rocky but safe. There is a cool tunnel to go through.
The cache is under a big rock. The is a great outing for kids of all ages. Have fun

ContentsAmmo can with a log book. 4 Lucky horse shoes, Poker game, scout patches, canoe, speakers & scout pin
The main road down the buckhorn draw goes by this cache to the north of it. There is a trail to the south of the camp. This trail is about a quarter mile. Rocky and up hill. But I made it with bad knees.
There is a cool tunnel to the canyon. Also when you are in the canyon there is a great echo affect. There are petroglyphs on the west wall. In the winter in a good year there will be a frozen waterfall on the south wall. It has been said that Butch Cassidy used this canyon as a hide out, and a family from Lawrence took supplies out to him and his gang. This is great fun for kids of all ages happy caching from Noodle
