This cache is placed at the intersection of the South Nation watershed and Highway 43. East of the posted coordinates is within the South Nation watershed (meaning water flows into the South Nation River), and west of the posted coordinates is within the Rideau Valley watershed (meaning water flows into the Rideau River).
