Gazebo on the green Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

EagleScout1968: Wow, I just drove past this area a week or two ago. I am archiving this cache because it has been reported by two cachers that the gazebo is gone. I will swing by sometime to confirm.

This is the 3rd time this has happened to one of my caches.

1) GC217JC Load the Boat - From the log: The tree was cut down on February 14, 2012. The last entry on the log was signed by Bedford DPW.

2) GC2NYFR Box the Gnat - Archived on 11/29/2012: The lamp post where the cache was placed was removed.

3) GC220Q2 Gazebo on the green - Archived on 10/23/2013: The gazebo where the cache was hidden was removed.

This cache was place on 12/18/2009 and archived on 10/23/2013. The cache had received 4 favorite points. It was Found 347 time and DNF'ed 5 time. 19 images were posted about the cache.

Hopefully I or someone else will place an other cache in this area.

Keep on caching! Keep on hiding!

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

The cache is a very small metal container that is hidden in a gazebo. There is only enough room for the small log book.

Come visit the gazebo and take a rest on one of the seats that are provided. You might need to change seats, but if you are observant you might find the little geocache that was left there for you.

You will have to bring your own pen or pencil.

Tweezers will be helpful for removing the log from the container.

This is a high traffic area, so be sure to use stealth. The walls of the gazebo should help you be stealthy.

Please replace the cache just as you found for the next geocacher.

Please be careful when closing the container. The threads are very fine and can easily be cross threaded.

I set the terrain to 1.5 because I do not believe a wheel chair could get into the gazebo.
