This cache is located (with permission) in Camel's Hump State Park. Please respect the area, avoid buswhacking, and stay on the trails as much as possible.
Did some hiking and hiding with zebra girl in zero degree temp today at the base of Camels Hump. I was planning to hide a dead president cache up on the Monroe trail. It is a great trail that leads to the summit of Camels Hump. Not sure how far we were going to hike up the trail to hide the cache but when we were driving to the trailhead we discovered that the last 1/2 mile of the road was unplowed. At the place where we could drive no further we discovered a great trail (View of Camels Hump Trail) with wonderful views of the mountain that went along a beautiful river. The hide is very winter friendly not far from the trail behind a viewing bench. You may want to wear snow shoes if planning on attempting this one during snow season.
