Geocache Description:

Small wooded lot managed by the DNR. May be flooded in the spring due to Rosenow Creek. Small children should be supervised as there are some animal holes and rubble. Surprisingly, there may be hunters present during the season.

2010 is the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts. This lot was once part of the estate of Vaudeville impresario Charles Kohl. Probably one of the smallest lots managed by the DNR. To avoid spooking the muggles, seekers should not park by the houses on Mainland Drive. The container is a large, clear plastic barrel. Lots of scout patches and kids toys.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Brian Glenzinski of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at: (visit link)
