This cache is placed at the highest point on the N9 between Middleburg and Graaff-Reinet.
The Loodsberg pass which snakes over the mountain at this point is 1781 meters above sea level.
In the winter this area can have snow.
The container is a army ammobox, with a logbook, pen, and some trade goodies.
Enjoy the view down the valley of the Sondags rivier in the distance.
