[ENG] The oldest parish in Latgale is Indricas St. John's church
which is older than 200 years.
Indricas church is the oldest wooden church which has not been
reconstructed since 1698, and one of the oldest churches of this
kind in the Baltics.
The church has a tower over the entrance, it is not very high.
There is an old-fashioned organ with distinctive carvings and four
altars in the church. They are very ornate with carvings and
ancient paintings.
A garden surrounds the church, which in its turn is surrounded by a
fence with tile roofing. A big fir-tree grows in the garden. 4
Deans are buried under this fir-tree.
