379Jonti379: Well what an event!!
Broke the Australian record for the largest Geocaching event in the country by a few logs, got in the paper.
Some people might say that after the mega event in WaggWagga later this year will take the record, but i am going to still say that its mine because the Wagga cache is a MEGA event which is a different cache type.

Hope everyone enjoyed there weekend down in Bendigo and thanks for being apart of this event!!!

Geocache Description:

Bendigo's first flashmob is here and will be held at the Bendigo Mall in the CBD!

It has been a little while since Bendigo has hosted an event cache, so now I'm bringing cachers a flashmob event! At 1:00pm sharp, i will appear at the Bendigo Mall at the coords listed above with a container, cachers must come over, grab a piece of paper, sign there name, place there sheet of paper back into the container, Cachers will have exactly 15 minutes to do this. I will have a separate container for coins and travel bugs. However before i appear with the container all Geocacher's must act like normal shoppers, looking in shop windows and walking around the mall until i appear at 1:00pm with the containers and a Geocaching symbol. After the 15 minutes i will leave and people who haven't got there paper back to me will miss out. People must then depart and return to the activities they where doing before 1:00pm Hopefully after everyone has got there papers back to me, we will have a group photo which i will upload after the event so stick around after you sign the log! Well we set the record for the largest event cache in Australia! 63 was the count and mabey more, depends if a few teams signed the same piece of paper!
The record breaking crowd!
