This Cache is located in the Western side of the Kamanofuchi Park in Ome City. The terrain is fairly gentle and there are stairways in the steep areas so it’s pretty easy walking through this part of the park. The Cache is a small Official Groundspeak plastic Cache container. It has a Log Sheet, and several small items (SWAG) for trade.
Very close to the Cache site you will find a nice very level area on the hilltop that has a couple of park benches (35/47.111N - 139/15.323E) and a Gazebo for relaxing and looking out over the river (35/47.135N - 139/15.297E). It is a nice shady area in the summertime and a good spot to get out of the sun. A picture of this area is posted in the gallery. From the Cache HIDE site looking Northwest (picture provided) you can see a covered picnic area and just a few feet beyond this covered area there is a very good viewpoint to visit for a great view of the Tama river looking North and also to the West (picture provided). This is a quiet area that is not visited as much as the Northern and Eastern areas of the park. It is accessible from a small but free parking area behind the Kanpo Hotel clearly visible on the map provided on this page (zoom in). Please use STEALTH while hunting this Cache and especially when you replace it to its hiding spot. There are many MUGGLES here every day and we don't want this Cache to go missing soon:) Thank you.
