I noticed this area had nothing in it and went exploring. Not only
is there a nice walking trail around part of the area (zoom out a
little on the satellite view or GE near parking or west of cache
along subdivision green belt), but there are trails back into the
woods and along the water. This area, in fact, looks ripe for
development , but I'll leave that to others....
Keep an eye out for muggles! You should not have too much of a
problem, but they may very well be around if the weather is nice!
There won't be many once you get off the typical walking path
area... but there could easily be fishing muggles. In fact, you'll
likely pass a small fishing camp, evidenced by campfire pit, a
salvaged patio sofa, and plenty of empties .
Enjoy the trails and views along Armand Bayou. There may be
wildlife along the way. We saw fish, turtles, herons, egrets, and
hawks. As the summer progresses, you will see mosquitos. Sorry.
Watch out for the typical creepies (snakes, spiders, etc.). There
were occasional thorns along the way, but nothing major. There is
PI along the way, but not on the paths themselves (at placement
time) and none spotted near GZ. But hey - it IS the woods, so
that's subject to change. Also watch out for broken bottles.
The cache is a 50 cal ammo can, off the trail a little bit,
stocked with all kinds of cool stuff. FTF gets a genuine Snoogans
FTF Smashed Quarter and my new pathtag. STF gets my new
pathtag.
Remember: 1) trade up or trade even 2) use available materials
to re-cover the cache well, and 3) Keep An Eye Out For Muggles!
Congrats to
ZOOTHORNROLLO for FTF!
