Geocache Description:


Cache is not located at given coordinates - however they are a good place to park while you complete the Minefield! Wherigo cartridge.

This Wherigo cache is located at Eastmanville Farm, a 229 acre property that is part of the Ottawa County Parks system. There are over 3.5 miles of equestrian and hiking trails on the property.

Park hours are 7am to 10pm, April 1 through October 31, and 7am to 8pm, November 1 through March 31.

The object of this Wherigo is to navigate yourself across a field without stepping on any "mines." If you step on a mine, you'll need to restart at the beginning. Once you reach the goal at the opposite end of the field, you'll be given the coordinates to the final cache location.

In order to complete this cartridge you'll need some special equipment - a Wherigo player and the "Minefield!" cartridge. The player comes pre-installed on several Garmin GPSr units including the Colorado and Oregon. The player is also available for some GPS enabled Pocket PC devices.
