Brahe byl neduverivy, po zkusenosti s kradezi vysledku svych pozorovani se o sve poznatky nerad delil. Vyjimku tvorily prace, darovane mecenasum. Ziskat udaje Braheho tricetileteho pozorovani pohybu nebeskych teles touzil zejmena Kepler, ktery je potreboval pro potvrzeni vlastnich hypotez o stavbe vesmiru. Po Braheho smrti skoncilo 21 svazku se souhlasem Rudolfa II v Keplerovych rukach. Uvedeny text se ke Keplerovi, ktery by jeho vyznam jiste pochopil, zrejme nedostal.

Here is a transcript of a Latin note that was found scribbled on the back of the attached illustration from the inheritance of Tycho Brahe. Apparently, the author of the note is Brahe but the addressee is uncertain. After Brahe's death, emperor Rudolph II entrusted Brahe's records of his observation into the hands of Johannes Kepler who was probably unaware of the text. If he had known it he would certainly have understood.
