Kleeblatt-Quelle - Fürthermare
Die Stadt Fürth hatte vor dem Ersten Weltkrieg schon einmal einen aufblühenden Kurbetrieb.
Auf Initiative des Nürnberger Fabrikbesitzers Carl Nold wurde ab 1901 und in den folgenden Jahren auf Fürther Gebiet mit einigen Versuchsbohrungen nach Kohle und anderen Bodenschätzen gesucht. Nach bestärkenden Gutachten erfolgte Anfang 1901 die erste Erkundungsbohrung in der Nähe des südlichen Pegnitzufers nahe der Stadtgrenze. Statt der vermuteten Steinkohlenlager erbohrte man im mesozoischen Deckgebirge artesisch auslaufende Na-Ca-Cl-SO4-Mineralwässer. Mit der im Jahre 1901 abgeteuften ersten, insgesamt 357,4 m tiefen Bohrung wurde bereits in einer Tiefe von -79,5 m im Benkersandstein ein Mineralwasserhorizont angeschlagen, der reich an Calciumsulfat und Eisenverbindungen war sowie geringe Spuren an Mangan und Natriumchlorid aufwies. Bereits im selben Jahr erbrachten Analysen von Professor Dr. Stockmeyer (Bayerisches Gewerbemuseum) günstige Ergebnisse bezüglich der Wasserqualität, und die Betreiber unter Kommerzienrat Nold erwogen die Vermarktung des Mineralwassers als Kompensation der Verluste der an sich als "erfolglos" angesehenen Bohrungen.
Trinkkuren aus dieser kohlensäurehaltigen Kochsalzquelle sollten gegen Verdauungsstörungen, Leberkrankheiten, Fettsucht, Gicht, Diabetes und Frauenkrankheiten helfen.
Im Laufe der letzten 100 Jahre, seit 1901, kam es zu weiteren Bohrungen nach Heilwässern, die teilweise erfolgreich waren, z.B. die "Strengspark-Quellen".
Lange Zeit waren die Fürther Heilquellen fast vergessen.
In neuerer Zeit kam dieser flüssige Bodenschatz wieder verstärkt ins allgemeine Bewusstsein.
Im Juli 2007 wurde der "Fürther Heilquellenweg" eröffnet. Er verbindet alle Fürther Heilquellen durch einen Rundweg.
Die "Kleeblatt-Quelle" (Bohrung: "TH1 Fürth") befindet sich am Scherbsgraben, am linken Ufer der Rednitz in Fürth. Charakteristisch für das Mineralwasser ist die fluoridhaltige Natrium-Calcium-Chlorid-Sulfat-Therme.
Nach der Erschließung (Bohrung) der Quelle im Jahr 2004 wurde im Jahr 2007 (zum 1000jährigen Jubiläum der Stadt Fürth) das Fürthermare fertiggestellt.
Die Thermalbecken im Fürthermare werden gespeist aus der Kleeblattquelle. Das fluoridhaltige Natrium-Calcium-Chlorid-Sulfat-Thermalwasser sprudelt aus über 400 Metern Tiefe an die Oberfläche.
Das Besondere an dem heilkräftigen Wasser ist der außergewöhnlich hohe Gehalt an gelösten Mineralien. Um als Mineralquelle bezeichnet werden zu dürfen, bedarf es eines Mindestgehaltes von 1 Gramm pro Liter, der hier deutlich überschritten wird.
Das Fürthermare liegt auf dem Fürther Heilquellenweg, der über vier Quellen verläuft. Die Kleebattquelle ist eine davon! Bei Infos zum Weg empfehle ich folgende Seite:

Before the First World War, Fürth was well-known as a health resort with a lot of mineral springs.
By initiative of Carl Nold – owner of a Nuremberg factory – coal and other mineral resources were searched in the area of Fürth by experimental drillings, starting in 1901.
Due to expert opinions, first exploration drillings were made in the near of the Pegnitz shore close to the southern city boarder. Instead of the expected coal deposits, the worker found artistic discontinued Na-Ca-Cl-SO4-mineral waters in the mesozoic overburden.
With the first borehole, drilled in 1901 in a totally depth of 357.4 m, a mineral horizon of the "Benkersandstein" has been hitted in the depth of 79.5m, which was rich in calcium sulfate and iron compounds, and showed traces of manganese and sodium chloride.
In the same year, analysis of Professor Stockmeyer (Bavarian Trade Museum, proved great results of the water quality. Therefore the drilling operators, under the lead of Counselor Nold, thougt about a way of merchandise the mineral water, as a compensation of the losses resulted of the “unsuccessflul” coal drillings.
Drinking that carbonated salt water as a cure, should protect against digestive disorders, liver disease, obesity, gout, diabetes and diseases of women.
Over the last 100 years, there were several more drillings for medicinal water. Some of them were very successful, for instance the famous "Strengspark” water source.
For a long time those Fürther mineral springs were forgotten.
In recent times, the “liquid treasure” was brought back into the memory more and more. In July 2007, the "Fürther Heilquellenweg" was created. It combines all the mineral springs of Fürth by a panoramic walking trail.
The so called: “Kleeblatt Quelle"(drilling:" Fürth TH1"), is located at the Scherbsgraben, at the left shore of the Rednitz in Fürth. Typical and unique for that mineral water is the sodium fluoride-calcium-chloride-sulfate thermal spring.
After drilling that spring in 2004, the so called "Fürthermare" was completed in 2007 (for the 1000th anniversary of the city Fürth).
The thermal pools of the Fürthermare are supplied by the cloverleaf source. The sodium fluoride-calcium-chloride-sulfate-thermal water gushes to the surface from a depth of more than 400 meters.
The special feature of the medical water is the exceptionally high content of dissolved minerals. The water of a source must require a minimum content of 1 gram per litre to have the right to be a mineral source and this criteria was clearly fulfilled.
The Fürthermare lies on the “Fürther Heilquellenweg”, which connects four mineral sources. The “Kleebattquelle” is one of them! For information about the way I recommend the following page:
