Not quite a park and grab, not a scenic location. A good one for someone in a hurry or for a geo fix on a rainy day.
This cache is named after and hidden very close to the starting point of the 1/2 marathon event of the Plymouth Race to the Rock. The race is unique in that it is actually 3 road races in one. The three races are the half marathon (13.1 miles,) the 10K (6.2 miles),which starts near the Plymouth Airport, and the 5K (3.1 miles), which starts at Cordage Park in North Plymouth. All three races start at different locations but at the same time and end at Plymouth Rock.
Cache is a medium size rubbermaid container containing a log book and a F.T.F prize plus the usual swag. I also chose this spot to hide a cache because I am launching my Long Distance Runner Geo Coin which I would like to see make it's way to Big Sur, CA which is where I ran my first marathon (26.2 miles.)
