Rheinisch -Westfälisches Berufskolleg Essen
Das Rheinisch-Westfälische Berufskolleg Essen ist die größte Förderschule für Gehörlose und Schwerhörige in Deutschland.
Als Schule der Sekundarstufe II bietet sie Bildungsgänge bis zur Fachhochschulreife und zur allgemeinen Hochschulreife.
Die Schule wird von über 1000 Schülerinnen und Schülern aus ganz Deutschland, zum Teil auch aus dem deutschsprachigen
Ausland, besucht. Die Kommunikation geht über die Gebärdensprache oder dem deutschen Fingeralphabet.
Die Einrichtung wird vom Landschaftsverband Rheinland getragen.

The North Rhine - Westphalian Vocational School in Essen is the largest food needs school for the deaf and hard of hearing pupils in Germany.
As an upper secondary school it offers education up to the technical college and the general university entrance.
The school is attended by over 1000 students from all over Germany, and partly from the German-speaking foreign countries.
Communication is realized by sign language or german fingerspelling.
The facility is supported by the Landschaftsverband Rheinland.
