Harpy Thyme named for the 17th book of the Xanth series by Piers Anthony. Xanth is a place where "appearance counts for most of reality" and nearly everyone has some magical talent, even if it is only the ability to change the color of popcorn.

Gloha, the only winged goblin-harpy crossbreed in Xanth, is searching for love, and decides to ask the Magician Humfrey where she can find it. He tells her to ask his second son Crombie the Soldier. Gloha goes on a quest for love, accompanied by Magician Trent and Cynthia, a winged centaur filly.
