It was the fifth game of the 1980 NFL season. The New Orleans Saints were 0-4. I was watching the game against the St. Louis Cardinals at the Superdome.
When the camera panned to the sidelines, there was random people with bags on there heads! What are these people doing with bags on their heads?
I did not know it then, but I was witnessing the infamous 'Aints years in New Orleans. The Saints would lose that game 40-7 and finish the season with a 1-15 record and the stigma of one of the worst teams in league history.
Fast-forward 30 years.... What a great game! It's great to see a team with as much heart as talent come out on top.
