Casuarina Point Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

blossom*: Unfortunately all the casurinas on this point have been cut down. This is apparently due to migrating birds (which are due soon) which need lower vegetation

Geocache Description:

A peaceful spot to watch the birds and contemplate life.

Bicentennial Park is a great place for a bike ride or a walk. There's always something different to see here with lots of water birds taking advantage of the mangrove environment. At certain times of the year, the path is decorated with garlands of golden orb weaver spider webs glistening in the early morning dew. Nearby, the tide pours in and out twice a day and a lookout tower will give you a view over the old shipwrecks sitting in Homebush Bay.
