How Geocaching Works
A cache to be found on the way to the viaduct. The cache is about 30 minutes into the trek over a well formed track (which can be muddy in places). The first half of the track is grassy and wide, and can be very muddy in places and is over rolling hills. The second half of the track is covered with stone chips and is a nice bush walk before opening out to the viaduct. The cache itself is a 200ml camo painted sistema container.
Coordinates provided show the entrance to an abandoned tunnel. The tunnel isn't very long and can be entered without a torch if you dont have one. It will be dark, but the tunnel is straight and dry, and you will see the other end before long. The tunnel opens up to the viaduct, but is covered with a large steel grill, so you will have to turn around once you have found the cache.
The cache is about 5 metres in from the end of the tunnel, hidden in a nice little nook. You may need a torch when replacing the cache, the light from my cell phone was sufficient when hiding the cache. Please ensure the cache is adequately covered so it is not visible to any muggles who dare to enter the tunnel...
