Die Wanderung führt an den Südosthängen des Montaña Ijiaga entlang bis zu den Füssen des einzigartigen Vulkanberg Roque Blanco.
Ausgangspunkt:
Auf der TF 82 fährst du bis El Molledo. Bei dem Kirchplatz kannst du parkieren.
Gehe die Strasse La Calzada hinunter, bis diese eine Linkskurve beschreibt. Gehe dann rechts durch eine schmale Gasse. Am Ende der Gasse siehst du den aufwärts gehenden Weg zum Roque Blanco. Die Abzweigungen links nach Tamaimo und rechts nach Santiago del Teide nicht beachten.
Nach ca. 2o - 25 Min. solltest du in einer Felsniesche eine kleine Muttergotteskapelle sehen. Wenige Minuten später bei der Wasserstelle Fuente Tenerguera siehst du 3 Tröge. An dieser Stelle befand sich in früheren Zeiten der Waschplatz. Weiter Bergauf, beim Lomo de la Cruz hat man einen herrlichen Panoramablick über das Tal, auf den Teide, den Roque Blanco, Los Quemados und den Barranco Seco. Danach gehst du etwas hinunter, vorbei an ehemaligen Anbaufeldern. Danach geht es wieder Bergauf vorbei an einem Trockenplatz für Feigen bis zur Finca.
Du gehst bis zum "Eingangsportal" und dann um das Grundstück herum im Zickzack hinunter bis zum Fusse des Roque Blanco.
Der Berg ist übrigens auch unter den Bezeichnungen "Chimayachi", oder "Guanchenkopf", Cabeza del Guanche bekannt.

The trail leads to the southeast slopes of Montaña Ijiaga down to the feet of unique volcanic mountain Roque Blanco.
Starting point:
Drive on the TF 82 to El Molledo. At the church square you can park your car.
Go down the street La Calzada, until it turns left. Then go right through a narrow alley. At the end of the alley you can see the footpath up to the Roque Blanco. Keep straight on and disregard the diversion left to Tamaimo and right to Santiago del Teide.
After about 2o - 25 minutes you should see in a small niche a little Mother of God Chapel and a few minutes later at the water point Fuente Tenerguera 3 troughs.
At this point, was in earlier times, the washing place. Continue uphill, at the Lomo de la Cruz, you have a wonderful panoramic view over the Valley, the Mount Teide, the Roque Blanco, Los Quemados and the Barranco Seco.
Shortly after this viewing point you go down a bit, passing former fields. Then it's back uphill past a drying place for figs up to a finca.
You go up to the entrance, then around the property in zigzagging down to the foot of the Roque Blanco.
The mountain is moreover known under the names "Chimayachi", or "Head of the Guanche", spanish “Cabeza del Guanche”.
