Technical Climb Tree Cache
Note:This cache is rated 5 for good reason. This cache is located 30 ft. in a tree on the side of a mountain. Reaching the cache requires specialized technical tree climbing equipment and training. The cache can not be accessed by conventional limb climbing. Failure to abide by technical tree climbing standards can result in personal injury, or death. Do not attempt this cache alone.If you are not 100% positive that what you are doing is safe, don't continue. You assume all liabilities attempting this cache.
This cache is located in a tree on Eagle bluff, in Clifton, Maine. The 9 mm ammo can is perched 30 feet up on a stout limb. I used Sherrill 12mm aborist rope, 3mm throw line, 12 oz. throw weight, New Tribe climbing harness, Petzl helmet, cambium protector,Petzl rope ascender, William triact carabiners, and Blakes climb hitch.
