How Geocaching Works
Located in Levis-Trow Mound recreation area in Clark County near the top of Levis Mound. Hiking and snowshoing is free, skiing and biking require a fee along the 18 miles of trails in the area. Hikers share the single track with mountain bikers and bikers have the right of way so please watch for bikes.
Best access to this cache is from the top. Please park at the listed coords and grab a trail map at the trail center/warming house. Trail system is quite complex and a map will come in handy to pick and choose which trails to take to the top. Hike to the top of the mound, find the proper trail and take it to the end where you will need to descend a short bit and veer to the right past the balancing rock towards the cliff face and the cache location. Please enjoy the views from end of the trail. I think they are some of the best in all of Wisconsin!
