While we were returning from a trip to Texas last year we stopped at a huge sporting goods store in Pennsylvania and while we were shopping we asked if they were opening one in Massachusetts, there is one in Connecticut and one in Maine but none close to home. The person we spoke to told us that they had broken ground on a store in Leo-minister Mass. This was interesting to us so we started asking around and it appears that this road may be the entrance to the future store, or not. Anyway it is a spot that I think deserves a cache no matter what.
Update 6-8-10, sadly this is not the location of a new Cabellas but the good news is it is the new location for a great local company named JC Madigan which supplies a full line of truck equipment to municipalities, end users and truck dealers. In a tough economy it's great to see a local company doing well enough to build.
