This is one of seven caches along Little Bear Creek which pay homage to the Little Dipper, an asterism which makes up part of Ursa Minor, or the Little Bear. Strongly recommend downloading a property map from the Mead Wildlife Area web site (link above).

Anwar al Farkadain is the name of the bottom star on the handle end of the Little Dipper's cup. The name is Arabic for "brighter of the two calves." Technically not a constellation, the Little Dipper is a star group (asterism) that makes up the back and tail of the constellation Ursa Minor, also known as "The Little Bear". This cache is located near Little Bear Creek. Depending on the time of year, be prepared for wet conditions. I can't promise that your feet will stay dry. Cache is a small, hexagonal plastic jar, covered with camouflage tape. The cache has a log, pencil, and room for some small trade items.
