This is my first Multi. I named this cache after #2 son who likes to fish the Reservoir. A small prize awaits the FTF but be sure you bring some tweezers to get it out.
This is a Log Only cache so BYOP and enjoy the trail.
The Wachusett Reservoir together with the Quabbin Reservoir provides the water supply for over forty cities and towns within the Commonwealth. The Sudbury Reservoir is the system's reserve, or backup, supply. The land surrounding the reservoirs is managed by the DCR Division of Water Supply Protection, Office of Watershed Management in order to protect the quality of the reservoir water, enhance the ecological integrity and ensure the future protection of these valuable natural resources from pollution, encroachment and environmentally damaging public use.
DCR permits SHORE FISHING ONLY at the Wachusett and Sudbury Reservoirs from dawn to dusk daily during the fishing season. Also hiking and cross county skiing are allowed.
NO DOGS are allowed so Fido will have to wait in the car.
Kid & Winter friendly. Park at D.C.R Gate 25 just past the Rt.12 Bridge in West Boylston.
