This spot can be quite swampy so wear waterproof footwear. If you watch your step it is easy to keep your feet dry. If your GPS sends you into a place you can't get to without getting your shoes soaking wet, you are in the wrong place. Bring a pen to sign the log. GPS bounces a lot here so take your time
This is one of 8 caches I have placed in Bennett wildlife Management Are in Charlton, MA. When I contacted Mass Fishery and Wildlife management office to get permission to place these caches they told me they think there are caches in every WMA in MA. Well there weren’t any at Bennett WMA until now! The best order to do these caches in is warmup, #1,#2,#3,#4,#6,#7,#5. This should take you in a big loop. The trail between #7 and #5 is not the best. There are trees down over the trail that make it hard to follow. Just trust you GPS! This area is stocked with pheasants during hunting season so WEAR BLAZE ORANGE! Parking is at N 42 11.234 W 071 56.645
