If coming from BB9, continue along the towpath to Hawkesbury Junction. Cross over the first bridge, on your left, to get onto the Oxford Canal towpath.
This cache was once part of a circular walk, but due to changes along the route I have had to archive most of the caches. I have left these canal-side caches in place for the enjoyment of drifters passing by.
The Barnacle Bimble is a circular walk of approximately 7 miles along well-marked and reasonably well-travelled footpaths, and the Coventry/Oxford Canal towpaths. No hills. There is one (dog-unfriendly) stile. Parts of the trail can get quite muddy. The route crosses a couple of busy roads where caution would be advisable.
