Madeline Sanborn (1917-2009) donated the Marsh Pond land to Chichester for public use. Chichester named this small trail system "MSCA" (Madeline Sanborn Conservation Area) The trail entrance kiosk provides quite a history account of the immediate area.
I caught the trail head kiosk out of the corner of my eye while waiting for a friend in the Chichester Town Hall parking lot. (actually, there was a mouse in my car and I was waiting for my hero to come remove it).
Small trail system with Marsh Pond viewing benches at the end. The trail system is still under development so it is not really marked well.
Dusk to dawn. Cache in trash out. Pets on leash/clean up "do". No hunting/camping/fires. Watch for poison ivy.
Many Many Congrats to Fishandgamer for FTF!
