Dieser Hang (Aufschluss) ist der Namensgeber der Seitendorfer Zwischenschicht. Es handelt sich um eine Blasensandsteinfolge, die durch rhythmischen Wechsel von Sandstein- und Lettenlagen gekennzeichnet ist.
Der Aufschluss ist als Geotop im Kataster des Bayerischen Landesamt für Umwelt geführt und als wertvoll eingestuft.
Wenn es nass ist oder Schnee liegt, erhöht sich die Terrainwertung um eins. Die Dose ist nicht im Aufschluss.
Kann jetzt auch bei www.opencaching.de unter OC9FC7 geloggt werden.

The Seitendorfer inter layer is named after this slope (outcrop). It is a sequence of the so called "Blasensandstein". This outcrop is listed as valuable in the register of the Bayerisches Landesamt für Umwelt.
If it is wet or it has snowed, then the terrain raises at one. The box is not in the outcrop.
