Vaxjö Granit Dieser Findling stammt aus Südostschweden. Fast 500km weit hat das Gletschereis ihn transportiert und vor ca. 20000 Jahren im Boden des heutigen Alten
Kupfermühlenweg in Flensburg liegen lassen. Der Stein mit seinem schönen Muster aus zartem Rosa (Kalifeldspat), Goldgelb (Plagioklas), Schwarz (Biotitglimmer) und Grau (Quarz) gehört zu den östlich von Vaxjö in Smaland verbreiteten Vaxjö-Graniten. Der Name Vaxjö-Granit ist eine Sammelbezeichnung für weiträumig verbreitete Gesteine innerhalb der Gruppe der Smaland-Granite. Rb/Sr-Datierungen liegen um 1700 Mio.Jahre. Es muß unterschieden werden zwischen Rotem Växiö-Granit und Grauem Växiö-Granit. Der
Rote Vaxjö-Granit dominiert mengenmäßig und es lassen sich eine Reihe gut lokalisierbarer Typen unterscheiden. Allgemein handelt es sich um mittel- bis grobkörnige Gesteine mit blaßrot-graublauem Farbspiel. Rötlicher perthitischer Kalifeldspat überwiegt Plagioklas. Der reichlich vorhandene Quarz ist meist bläulich-grau getönt und gelegentlich idiomorph. Als dunkle Minerale kommen in geringer Menge Biotit und Hornblende vor. Einige Varietäten des Roten Vaxjö-Granits zeigen starke metamorphe Deformation, andere sind völlig undeformiert. Die Grauen Vaxjö-Granite haben granodioritische bis tonalitische Zusammensetzung mit einem erheblichen Anteil von Biotit und Hornblende. Der Quarzanteil ist unbedeutend. Das Gefüge ist gleichkörnig bei durchweg geringer Korngröße, unklaren Korngrenzen und oft ausgeprägter Faserigkeit.

deformation,others are completely undeformed. The Grey-Granite Vaxjö have granodioritic to tonalitic composition with a substantial share of Biotite and hornblende. The quartz content is
negligible. The microstructure is the same granular at consistently low grain size, grain boundaries and unclear often pronounced fibrous.
